Partner onboarding · Admin guide

You’re the admin. Here’s your one page.

Someone at your company named you the AI Sommelier admin, the person who can see how members use it. This is everything there is to know: it takes about five minutes, and there’s nothing to install.

The orientation

Five things, five minutes.

  1. Claim your account

You’ll get an email with a single-use setup link. It expires in 14 days, so claim it when it lands. You’ll set your name, a password, and your birth date (the legal-drinking-age attestation applies to everyone, admins included). If the link expires, ask us for a fresh one. It takes a minute.

  2. Sign in on your subdomain

Your company’s sommelier lives at yourname.somm.wine-hound.com. Sign in there, not at any other address. Your account also works as a regular member account: same cellar, events, and pairing chat your members get, which is the best way to know what they’re experiencing.

  3. Open the dashboard: /insights

Add /insights to your subdomain and it’s yours alone (plus us). You get 7-, 30-, and 90-day windows over: total AI requests, tokens in and out, average response time, the cached share of input, a requests-per-day chart, and a feature-by-feature table, so you can see whether members live in pairing chat, event planning, or the cellar.

Below the usage numbers is a Store & members section: how many click-throughs your recommendations sent to your store, your top recommended wines, which surfaces drove the clicks, how many members are active, new signups, and how often a ready-made menu got taken. Export any window to CSV with one button.

What you won’t find there, on purpose: dollar costs (that’s your contract, not a meter) and any individual member’s activity or email: everything is aggregate.

  4. How your members get in

Members sign up directly on your subdomain with a birth-date attestation of legal drinking age. Accounts live entirely under your brand. An email address that exists on another wine app, or even on Wine Hound’s own consumer app, is a completely separate account here. If your contract uses invite codes, each has a use limit and can grant time-boxed trial access; ask us when you need a new batch. And if your member site supports it, we can turn on handoff so members already signed in there arrive without a second password.

  5. Requesting changes

Colors, logo, tagline, persona, voice notes, and the catalog are all managed by us as part of your contract. Send the change and it’s typically live same-day. Catalog updates are one attachment: the full refreshed spreadsheet (it replaces the whole list, so always send everything, not just the new rows template here).

Stuck, or curious?

Write to us any time. A real person answers, usually the one who built your tenant.
