We’re currently pursuing our WSET Level 3 certifications, building on years of tasting experience, travel to wine regions around the world, and hosting over 50 wine events with friends and fellow wine lovers. Our journey started with informal dinners and a curious basset hound sniffing corks—and it’s grown into a full-on pursuit to help others discover how fun and satisfying wine pairing can be.

Wine Hound is evolving to offer DIY wine and food pairing kits, educational content, entertaining stories through our Tasting Tales podcast and blog (coming soon!), and a growing line of branded merch. What are your wine & food pairing kits?

Our kits (coming soon!) will include wine recommendations, meal or small-bite pairing guides, and easy-to-follow instructions. You’ll be able to impress your guests with thoughtfully curated combinations—all without needing to be a sommelier.

What’s your wine background?

We’re both certified at the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and are currently studying for Level 3, which dives deeper into global wine regions, winemaking techniques, and advanced tasting. Our events and products are built on a foundation of formal education and personal experience.

What is Tasting Tales?

Tasting Tales will be our blog and podcast—a mix of wine stories, pairing tips, regional deep-dives, and real-life tasting experiences. It’s designed for wine lovers of all levels who enjoy learning while being entertained.

What’s the story behind your logo?

Our logo features Jerry, our basset hound and the original Wine Hound. He’s been part of nearly every tasting we’ve ever hosted and has the best nose in the house. His playful vibe represents everything we aim to bring to wine education: fun, warmth, and great taste—without the snobbery.
